- This is an entry level driver in training role. This driver is responsible for riding with the driver trainer and learning/gaining experience in driving a tractor trailer or straight truck intrastate and/or interstate, and/or on overnight routes. As well as, executing deliveries to customers according to a predetermined delivery schedule.
- Attends and successfully completes PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee Program as required. All training documentation is completed and maintained per requirements.
- Perform all required safety checks (i.e. pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and take appropriate action as needed. Follow all DOT and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
- Report all safety issues and/or repairs as required.
- Utilize two-wheeler, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight into designated customer areas.
- Physical requirements include but are not limited to standing, walking, reaching, lifting, stacking or pulling products of various sizes, on shelves of various heights, weighing between 10-90lbs throughout the shift.
- Inspect and ensure that tractor and trailer/freight are properly loaded, locked and secured at all times.
- Perform count checks and review customer invoices. Complete in an accurate and legible fashion all required paper work associated with freight.
- Perform damage control checks and remove/reload orders according to company policy.
- Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork.
- Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state and company requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized tractor and trailer. Unload all equipment, materials and remove all trash as required.
- Ensure that loading dock area is clear and clean.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
After 3 to 4 weeks and obtaining your CDL, new drivers will be placed with a PFG driver for ON-THE JOB TRAINING. With opportunity’s to make a minimum of $1,540.00 a week. Lots of opportunity to earn more per week! NO HIDDEN COSTS
DISCLAIMER: Per our Tuition Reimbursement Agreement to be sign upon hire. PFG will require a 2 year commitment. If you decide to leave before the completion of 24 months of employment, PFG will obtain the cost of the tuition and money paid to you while training. Cost equals $5380.00

Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work the assigned schedule and attend class as scheduled

- Must be 21 years of age
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass a post offer drug screen (and a DOT drug screening once CDL permit is received), DOT physical and criminal background check.
