Reekado Banks, a Nigerian award-winning artist, has released a visually beautiful ‘video’ for his current hit tune, “Ozumba Mbadiwe,” which was produced by P.Priime.
With this new stunning graphic, Reeky Baby sent out the statement below…
“Growing up, my parents always had wonderful things to say about Nigeria and lovely stories about how the country was established with cash crops from all parts of the country, including the North, South, East, and West.” However, as we all know, much of that beauty looks to have vanished behind the drapes. It’s a pity, especially in a country where the youth population is expanding, vibrant, and intelligent.
But I’m still clinging to the image of Nigeria that my parents instilled in me. My optimism is bolstered by our activities’ tenacity and the volume of our voices during the EndSARS marches. The Nigerian youth’s spirit will not be stifled by the lousy government and the ruling class.
I am confident that Nigeria will be great again, but we must continue to push for decent leadership and development for Nigerians as a united force. The most attractive aspect about us is that no one can take away our smile and determination, even in the face of adversity. We will experience sadness for a short while, but our joys will not be taken away from us, and we will continue to dance and hope. There’s a new EP available right now that you should check out.
