The lead song from the Providence EP is “Running,” which features Fireboy DML. With guest appearances from Fireboy DML, Amaarae, and Rema, ‘Providence’ adds to LadiPoe’s already impressive discography.
Beginning with the thoughtful LOTR II, an acronym of his nickname ‘Leader of the Revival,’ the meticulously crafted 6-track project depicts periods of growth, introspection, love, and life. On ‘Running,’ featuring Fireboy DML, Ladipoe collaborated with hallmark producer Andre Vibez (Ayra Starr, Omah Lay), contributing to the pioneering Nigerian Afro-fusion sound. Poe continues to expand his sonic palette with the explosive anthem ‘Afro Jigga,’ which features a cameo appearance from Rema, before teaming up with the future of Afro-pop Amaarae for the gorgeous ‘Love Essential.’
RUNNING is a motivational song that doesn’t quite hit you straight away since the music is so powerful that you’re completely immersed in the event.
