Riot Games Inc seeks Software Engineer II at our Los Angeles office located at 12333 West Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064. Telecommuting Permitted. 1 (one) position is available. Duties: Ensure the software code meets the high standard for quality & the software performs properly. Analyze, design & ensure core internal business operations software features are stabilized, matured & integrated across teams & systems. Work with other senior members of the engineering team to understand Riot’s current & future state needs for internal data pipelines & data streaming. Work with relevant Product Owners to understand user stories. Estimate time required to complete user stories in a backlog. Write RFCs to get feedback on technical designs and ultimately generate shared standards of practice. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Systems Science, Engineering (any field), or related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in the field of software engineering/development or Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Systems Science, Engineering (any field)or related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in the field of software engineering/development. Required Skills: 1) Javascript; 2) Python; 3) MySQL; 4) Postgresql; 5) DevOps; 6) AWS; 7) GCP; 8) Data Engineering. Any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable.
