Smart device manufacturing company, Xiaomi, yesterday unveiled the latest range of its smartphones, the Redmi Note 11 series in Nigeria.
Prominent Nigerians, celebrities and mobile phone enthusiasts were gathered at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, to witness the much-anticipated launch of the product, which the company said has already sold over 240 million units worldwide.
The smart device is touted to offer Nigerians superior specs in the realms of camera display, battery and charging efficiency. It is also said to have the capability to provide high-level performance to suit the ever-evolving needs of consumers across the board.
Speaking on the features of the smartphones, Marketing Communication Manager, Xiaomi Nigeria, James Ikpe, said: “The Redmi Note 11 series has distinguished itself from other competitors with its side fingerprint sensor, the Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which protects the screen from cracking when it falls and top range Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) technologies that enable Nigerians to maximise their lifestyles and make the most of every moment.”
Also speaking, Training Manager Xiaomi Nigeria, Tosin Justina, speaking on the features of Redmi Note 11S and Note 11, said: “The two devices share some similarities, the camera module, dual speakers, unified design, side fingerprint, flat frames.”
She said: “Note 11S has 108MP camera, macro lens, portrait mode and it has RAM extension of 4GB + 6GB + 8GB while Note 11 has an extension of 6GB + 8GB + 11GB.
She disclosed that all the phones come at competitive prices when compared with similar phones with the same features.
