A Day in the Life
Contribute to a culinary experience of the highest quality, consistency and creativity.
Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and the daily preparation of meals from pre-determined menus, ensuring the food quality and presentation meets our dining standards.
Assist with menu creation, budget control and development of new ideas.
Provide instruction to the kitchen team and monitor kitchen service levels to ensure Guests’ needs are met.
Estimate daily production needs on a weekly basis and communicates production needs to kitchen personnel daily.
Prepare and cooks food of all types, either on a regular basis or for special Guests or functions.
Assist in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays.
Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
Recognize superior quality products, presentations and flavor.
Follow proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
Operate and maintains all department equipment and reports malfunctions.
Your Qualifications
3+ years of experience in culinary roles.
Red Seal and Food Safe Level 2 Certified (this is a must).
You THRIVE in a fast-paced environment and can multi-task with ease.
You lead with a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and bring energy and enthusiasm to work every day!
You’re dedicated to providing truly unmatched Guest experiences!
You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
You are highly collaborative and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
You have excellent interpersonal skills – you’re a true people-person!
