The Oyo State government on Tuesday announced that it would begin recruitment of corps for its security network, Amotekun, on Wednesday, September 9.
According to information received by Tribune Online, the state security network will hold the exercise at the Adamasingba Sports complex from 8.00 a.m.

General Requirements for Amotekun Recruitment
To be qualified for the 2020/2021 Amotekun Recruitment, you need to have the following:
- West African Examination School Certificate (WASSCE) or National Examination Council Certificate with at least 5 credits in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics. (Not less than two sittings) or
- Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma (HND) or Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
- Knowledge in computer application which will also serve as an added advantage.
- Applicants should be between the age of 18 to 70 years.
- The minimum qualification is primary school certificate.
